I love the Jinhao 159! I own three of them. Each one works well—nice, smooth ink flow, with bold lines. (I have medium nibs.) I also like the handsome appearance and screw-on cap. Hard to believe the excellent performance for such an inexpensive pen.
Such a great pen for the price . A large pen though! Good desk pen. Surprisingly good for about $10.

This pen really surprised me. The pen has a great weight and writes right away every time. It could easily pass for a $100+ fountain pen. The Jinhao 159 is a total steal! Of course, the purchase process and shipping from Truphae was wonderful!
I’m fairly new to fountain pens, but this is a fantastic, super affordable, smooth pen. My only con is that it’s a bit heavy.
