Got the EF nib which writes smoothly with a nice thin line width. Ideal for writing in my journal with lined Japanese paper. The red birchwood finish is quite luxurious. Well done Pilot - another winner!
Wonderful pen. It writes as all vanishing points’ gold nibs do - beautifully! I had already purchased the Black Birch - it was so nice I had to order this Red version which has a fantastic color. I’m still playing with inks to match, quite a few are working with the lighter and darker tones of the wood. The surface of this impregnated wood is smooth and silky and the lighter weight of the pen makes it very comfortable to write with.
