From Sydney, Australia I'd ordered 2 steel nib fountain pens: this Pineider Avatar UR Lapis Blue , and another in Military Green .
They were dispatched on 12 November, and Truphae requested a review on 30 November. I have finally received them today on 1 December.
I've inked them, and am glad to report that both pens write well with no issues. I now own 4 of these pens -3 bought from Truphae, and one bought from another retailer. Based on my experience thus far, I have no hesitation at all in recommending these pens, which to my mind are as technically sound as Diplomat or Faber-Castell. I'd been worried about possible inconsistency from Italian makers, but my fears proved groundless. Bravissimo!
