A stainless steel nib provides a smooth, consistent line with minimal fuss. Choose the feel you prefer, from extra fine and fine for note-taking, to medium and broad for fuller strokes, plus a stub option for expressive, calligraphic character. Filling is handled via converter for convenient use with bottled inks, making color changes simple and satisfying.
I have no experience with the Monteverde brand when receiving this pen. I was extremely impressed! The beefiness of this pen is right up my alley. I am not petite and I don't enjoy a thin pen. But the Gaea- she is a beauty. I love the teal and brown Tortoise shell coloring on the cap and body. The silver accents are complimentary to the pen coloring. The pen is not heavy as the size would suggest. The cap posts perfectly but does as a bit of unbalanced weight. I like using it un-posted for this reason. I got the broad nib and it's lovely! I have since obtained two more Monteverde pens, and they are all fantastic.
Another enjoyable pen by Monteverde! I received the Monteverde Gaea Fountain Pen with a fine nib pen in a subscription box. What a nice pen to hold and the acrylic is wonderful to look at! I prefer pens with a #6 nib and this pen has it. While the pen posts securely, it does back-weight the pen, slightly.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
