The Cross Classic Century Ballpoint Pen in Burgundy Marble & Chrome pairs a richly patterned burgundy finish with polished chrome appointments. Dark marbling gives the red surface visual depth, while the slender silhouette preserves the familiar styling of the Classic Century.
Craftsmanship & Design
The tapered body, narrow center ring, elongated pocket clip, and conical chrome ends create a clean, balanced appearance. The burgundy marble finish extends across the upper and lower body, contrasting with the bright chrome trim. The photographs show the actual pen offered.
Collector & Design Context
This expressive finish gives the Classic Century a distinctive character while retaining its understated proportions. The burgundy-and-chrome combination makes an attractive companion for everyday writing or a collection of Cross writing instruments.
Writing Experience
A twist mechanism extends and retracts the ballpoint tip for convenient notes and signatures. Replaceable Cross-style ballpoint refills allow the pen to remain practical for regular writing.
Brand Heritage
Cross traces its history to 1846. The Century ballpoint was introduced in 1953, establishing the slender design that became one of the company's most recognizable writing instruments.
