Overall I am happy with my purchase. It’s a fairly well constructed pen. I like to post while writing and I do find that I have to reposition the caps posted position occasionally to have it post solidly. I also had to do some minor tuning to the nib. Out of the box there was a slight misalignment of the tines that caused some skipping. I also took some 12,000 grit so smooth out some upstroke scratch. These were minor adjustments that I am capable of doing so not a big deal. However in pens that sell in the $175-$300 price range it’s disappointing. Quite common but disappointing none the least.
Now that the nib is tuned it’s a beautiful writer!! But because of the small above mentioned issues it gets 4 stars not 5. Truphea however is a reputable outfit and recommended vendor.
