Warm copper tones meet soft rose gold accents in the Pelikan Classic M200 Fountain Pen - Copper Rose Gold, a refined take on Pelikan's beloved piston-filled silhouette. A translucent barrel quietly reveals the ink level, set against a crisp white cap and piston knob for a fresh, contemporary contrast.
Craftsmanship & Design
The M200 line is built in high-quality resin with Pelikan's signature beak clip and clean, balanced proportions. In this Copper Rose Gold finish, rose gold-plated trim highlights the cap rings and clip, while the copper-tinted barrel offers a subtle view of the reservoir. The interplay of white resin and warm metallic accents gives this Classic series pen a modern elegance without losing the familiar Pelikan character.
Writing Experience
A stainless steel nib delivers dependable performance with the smooth, slightly cushioned feel Pelikan enthusiasts appreciate. Available in extra fine, fine, medium, and broad, it pairs with Pelikan's reliable piston mechanism for a generous, consistent ink flow. The screw-on cap secures cleanly, and the comfortable, lightweight build makes extended writing feel natural and controlled.
Pelikan Heritage
Pelikan pioneered the differential piston-filling system in 1929, setting a standard for efficiency and reliability that endures today. The Classic M200 series carries that legacy forward, combining everyday practicality with the craftsmanship and German manufacturing that have defined Pelikan writing instruments for generations.

I gave this fountain pen a four because the grip is a little too short. The cap screws into the grip, so I often hold the cap threads when I grasp the pen. It's just the way I hold the pen.
