The Pilot Metropolitan MR Chanomegumi Limited Edition Fountain Pen - Light Green expands the Metropolitan collection with a finish inspired by the natural beauty and cultural tradition of Japanese green tea. The fresh light-green finish reflects the brighter tones of Japanese tea and gives the Metropolitan a lively, contemporary appearance.

Craftsmanship & Design

The Chanomegumi collection was developed around three tea-inspired colorways—Deep Green, Light Green, and Roasted Tea Brown—each coordinated with a matching pen case. Every MR fountain pen features a unique center-band pattern inspired by the iris flower, adding a distinctly Japanese decorative detail not found elsewhere in the Metropolitan MR lineup.

The familiar Metropolitan metal-bodied silhouette remains balanced and approachable for everyday writing, while the limited-edition finish gives this version a more collectible identity.

Writing Experience

This model uses Pilot’s stainless steel nib and cartridge/converter filling system, combining reliable everyday performance with the flexibility to use either cartridges or bottled ink.
